A Personal Note

Flight Insignia began as a personal project—an attempt to bring together two long-standing passions: aviation and refined, intentional design.

Growing up near the F16 Swedish Air Force Wing in Uppsala, I often heard the J35 Draken and later the JA37 Viggen passing overhead. Summers spent in Sidirokastro, in northern Greece, added another layer of aviation exposure, with F-4 Phantoms, A-7 Corsairs, and F-16s cutting across the sky. These moments, combined with my later work in aviation safety, shaped a lasting respect for the discipline, precision, and history carried by every airframe.

Over time, I felt there was room for apparel that reflected this world—not loud or commercial, but authentic, understated, and designed with purpose.

Flight Insignia is the result: a tribute to the machines and markings that shaped aviation, created for those who share the same fascination.
