Design Details — RNLAF F-16 'Orange Lion' Signature

This Signature tee references the Royal Netherlands Air Force F-16 'Orange Lion', interpreted through measured graphics and carefully balanced placement inspired by one of the RNLAF's most distinctive display aircraft.

The front composition is centred around the Flight Insignia Signature Mark, adapted using the colours of the Dutch national flag. Applied in measured proportion against the orange base garment, the design preserves a restrained presentation while retaining a clear connection to the aircraft that inspired it.

On the right sleeve, the Orange Lion artwork is reproduced as a subtle tonal element, referencing the aircraft's distinctive lion marking. The left sleeve carries the J-015 aircraft serial, acknowledging the individual airframe behind the display scheme.

The interior is finished with a discreet Flight Insignia neck label, completing the garment without visual interruption.

Finished in the Netherlands' unmistakable national colour, the aircraft features a stylised lion stretching across the tail—an enduring symbol of Dutch identity found in the country's coat of arms and military heraldry. Combined with the vibrant orange airframe, the design transformed the Fighting Falcon into a flying ambassador for the Royal Netherlands Air Force at air shows across Europe.

Although created as a display aircraft, the Orange Lion remained a fully operational F-16, demonstrating the performance of the Fighting Falcon while celebrating the heritage and professionalism of the RNLAF.
